Port Colborne, a historically rich city, is home to 18,000 residents. It is located at the northern shore of Lake Erie and the southern end of the Welland Canal, just past the Welland townline. Port Colborne is a small versatile city and is great for theatre lovers, music enthusiasts and nautical adventurers.
Port Colborne is home to the Showboat Festival Theatre, where performances can be seen during the summer months. The Mark Fairchild Orchestra performs in the park during the summer, which is always a crowd pleaser. One of Port Colborne’s week long events is Canal days, celebrating the Welland Canal with dragon boat races, food sampling and concerts for all to enjoy.
